Laura leads our work supporting partners in the western Indian Ocean region to integrate community health promotion efforts into their local marine management initiatives. Before joining BV in January 2013 she spent two years living on Madagascar's beautiful southeast coast where she worked to develop a variety of community health projects for a local NGO called Azafady. She grew up beside the ocean in Copenhagen so loves sailing and cycling. She practices yoga in her spare time.
