Only Kathryn<\/strong> had been there and done it before,<\/p>\n For the rest there were lots of new things to explore.<\/p>\n Amanda<\/strong> would teach us to swim upside down,<\/p>\n Part diving, part yoga, with a touch of the clown.<\/p>\n Alyssia<\/strong> from Jersey, the coolest by far,<\/p>\n Sometimes lives in Hawaii, sometimes lives in her car.<\/p>\n Marketta <\/strong>who never wakes up till midday,<\/p>\n At breakfast she simply has nothing to say<\/p>\n But Manga Lodge coffee would make her convert<\/p>\n To a pole-dancing vixen and outrageous flirt.<\/p>\n Daniella<\/strong> the architect, like, loves to enthuse<\/p>\n About all forms of sea life and wooden canoes<\/p>\n She purchased a turtle to, like, keep it alive,<\/p>\n And only stops talking in order to dive.<\/p>\n Anne <\/strong>who came here to try diving again,<\/p>\n And who, thanks to Samantha, discovered her Zen,<\/p>\n Who sees underwater like Mr Magoo,<\/p>\n But BV will make sure she has something to do.<\/p>\n And Steve<\/strong> who designed a ridiculous chair<\/p>\n Which is more like a throne but he doesn\u2019t care,<\/p>\n He thinks he\u2019s the Big Man they call Papa Steve,<\/p>\n But that chair will be firewood as soon as he leaves.<\/p>\n And let\u2019s not forget Goffe<\/strong>, our child of the sea,<\/p>\n Who makes us feel tired with his sheer energy.<\/p>\n And guiding them all through their days in the sun,<\/p>\n Are the staff, like Chiara<\/strong>, exposing her bum,<\/p>\n As they finally let her get back in the boat,<\/p>\n After making to leave and just letting her float,<\/p>\n And Pete <\/strong>who is sweet and is missing his cat,<\/p>\n And fianc\u00e9e too, of course, don\u2019t forget about that,<\/p>\n And Sam<\/strong> who was born to live by the sea,<\/p>\n Who takes Nudibranch pictures and loves herbal tea.<\/p>\n Bic<\/strong> is the diver we all want to be,<\/p>\n We suspect he has gills but they\u2019re too hard to see,<\/p>\n Georgie<\/strong> looks after sea cucumber beds<\/p>\n And ties sea weed to bottles with long nylon threads,<\/p>\n Sophie <\/strong>the Queen of the science we do,<\/p>\n Who loves noodles and chocolate drinks thicker than glue.<\/p>\n Capitain Nick<\/strong>, the Napoleon Wrasse,<\/p>\n Who the Malagasy staff seem to love to harass<\/p>\n By filling their laptops with bugs he can kill,<\/p>\n \u201cIt won\u2019t happen again Nick!\u201d but you know that it will,<\/p>\n And finally Shawn <\/strong>who looks over it all,<\/p>\n Thin as a rake and terrifically tall,<\/p>\n Who is dreaming of broadband and Tacos to eat,<\/p>\n And who wanders around with no shoes on his feet.<\/p>\n When the NTZ opens it will signal the end,<\/p>\n Except for Kathryn, Alyssia and newcomer Ben,<\/p>\n They will get a bit longer in Andavadoaka,<\/p>\n While the rest of us hope that the camion is broke<\/p>\n So we set off to Tulear in a nice 4×4,<\/p>\n Though hopefully a bit better planned than before,<\/p>\n And we say our farewells to the people we\u2019ve met,<\/p>\n But we\u2019ve all had a time we will never forget.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Steve Richards.
